We spent some amount of time looking at Stellar Nucleosynthesis in the context of the creation of elements. It seemed so far from the emerging imagination of the Lower Elementary child. “Picture a vast cloud of Hydrogen gas.” So many words that required the child to picture things that are even for an adult inconceivable.
I’ve been impressed by the Lower Elementary children returning to the work again and again. (here)
The heat and humidity has finally broken here. (Well, the humidity anyway as it was 89 yesterday.) AR was able to take this really big work outside and enjoy it on the lawn.
