Angesis & dysgenesis

Definition

This term can be used to define the lack of formation (angesis) or the formation and subsequent destruction (dysgenesis ) of an organ. When speaking about int in a neurodiverse context, it refers to the corpus callous (AgCC). This is a very rare condition. The film Rain Man’s inspiration was born with this difference.

Angesis and Dysgenesis have three common expressions:

  • Reduced communication between the hemispheres of the brain resulting in reduced transfer of sensory-motor information.
  • Cognitive processing is slowed.
  • Problem solving and complex reasoning weaknesses.

The outcomes are weaknesses in:

  • complex and rote information retention
  • memory retrieval
  • inflexible thought patterns, literal language expectation
  • weakened creativity and emotional processing especially facial emotions
  • social awkwardness leading to isolation and loneliness
