AR worked on a project about Dr. Alfred Wegner. He was a German geologist and meteorologist. His passion was meteorology of the Arctic. However, he is best remembered for his theory of Plate Tectonics. AR created a video of herself as Wegner discussing his loves. (I’m working on getting a video for the site.) She also created a lap book with maps of the German Empire and its loss of lands after WWII (the span of Wegner’s life). She studied some of the fashions of the period to help her understand how Wegner would have dressed. She also created a series of flaps discussing the previous ideas about how the continents were formed.
AR stood on a stool and read her thoughts about the life of Wegner and his accomplishments. She was the most professional in her presentation.
